Commercial Intern (6-Month Program)

About the role

Move Travel Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented Commercial Intern for a 6-month (24-week) internship in Kuala Lumpur. The role combines commercial strategy, supply optimization, account management, partner onboarding, data analytics and project coordination, giving hands-on work on supplier performance data, reporting dashboards and onboarding frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Partner onboarding: build and run structured onboarding flows, collateral and documentation for new hotels and commercial suppliers.
• Support account managers with partner communications, follow-ups, weekly supplier sync decks and performance reviews.
• Design flowcharts and SOPs for commercial workflows such as promo code creation, supplier onboarding and account health checks.
• Analyze supplier inventory, availability, rates and booking conversion, and compare standalone versus promotional package activities to find growth drivers.
• Help commercial leads spot supply gaps and regional demand trends.
• Review commercial dashboards (demand, supply, performance) and propose new KPIs and improvements with the Data Team.
• Track project milestones, take meeting minutes and prepare weekly and monthly commercial summaries.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Project Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Interest in e-commerce, account management, supply operations and partner relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Required skills

• Comfortable working with data and metrics; a plus is prior exposure to Looker, dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets or web/app analytics tools.
