Business Development Representative - Malaysia Market

About the role

Salesforce's Sales Development team is made up of Business Development Representatives (BDR) and Sales Representatives (SR); SRs handle inbound leads while BDRs, the more senior role, focus on outbound lead generation. This opening is for a BDR selling into the Malaysia region, and prior experience in or with that market is highly desired. Success is measured on a monthly quota of qualified sourced opportunities and team-closed business.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline for the company's products across enterprise accounts.
• Create and prioritise strategic target account lists within Malaysia.
• Research and build cold accounts (adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling) and hold high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas.

Required profile

• Experience and familiarity working within the Malaysia market.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu to converse with clients in the Malaysia market.
• Experience prospecting and cold calling (highly regarded).
• Consistent achievement of targets or critical metrics.
