Country Procurement Manager - China Commercial

About the role

The Country Procurement Manager leads or supports one or more procurement categories and acts as the key procurement contact for one or more business areas such as divisions, franchises or corporate functions. The role implements global procurement strategy at country level, manages relevant KPIs on productivity, compliance, processes and customer satisfaction, and builds strong relationships with stakeholders and key suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement country and cluster procurement strategies aligned with global priorities and business goals
• Own and deliver cost savings, productivity improvements and payment term enhancements
• Maintain high standards of PO and contract compliance and adherence to procurement processes and systems
• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring policy adherence and integration with capability centers
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and build strong partnerships
• Manage key supplier relationships and implement global/regional supplier strategies, including contract execution, supplier onboarding and tail spend management
• Drive communication and collaboration across procurement functions (operations, category teams, compliance)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; preferred in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field
• Fluency in spoken Mandarin to support regional and global stakeholder and supplier interactions
• 3-5 years of procurement or category management experience in a multinational or complex organization
• Proven track record of cost optimization, sourcing execution and measurable savings
• Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, and leading or supporting transformation initiatives
