Biopharmaceutical Representative - Repatha

About the role

Amgen, a leading independent biotechnology company, is hiring a Biopharmaceutical Representative in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, within its Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) business. The role focuses on driving sales of Repatha, a therapy for patients with high cholesterol.

Key responsibilities

• Build personal and business relationships with key decision makers and prescribers to meet individual and team sales targets.
• Raise market awareness and deliver the sales message for Repatha, developing each account through face-to-face and virtual connections.
• Identify customers' unmet needs and turn them into opportunities using sales tactics.
• Work with the Sales Manager to develop and implement territory and key account plans, and contribute to sales team collaboration.
• Gather competitive information and follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely way.
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and keep customer profiles up to date.
• Continuously improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and agreed training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the private sector.
• Preferred: product sales experience in cardiology and endocrinology, local market knowledge, and experience in drug enlistment in the private sector.
