Senior Executive, Policy Servicing

About the role

Zurich Insurance Company is hiring a Senior Executive, Policy Servicing in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers processing and updating project activities related to Takaful and life insurance servicing requests, ensuring they are completed within established benchmarks and deadlines, and proposing data-driven solutions aligned with the company's strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Process and update servicing requests from customers for Takaful and life insurance products
• Present data to support decisions on solutions
• Assist the supervisor in product meetings and in preparing system and business requirements
• Perform system enhancements and prepare documents for sign-off before, during and after user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Monitor results and review processes, proposing automation or improvements
• Prepare and review documents such as work instructions, regulatory guides and policy contracts
• Ensure compliance with the Takaful Act 1984, Bank Negara guidelines, MTA guidelines, departmental benchmarks and audit requirements
• Support colleagues with day-to-day problem solving and ad-hoc assignments

Required profile

• Degree or diploma with relevant experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of life insurance and Takaful is desirable

• Good verbal and written communication and analytical skills
• PC literacy and sound processing knowledge
• Excel and Big Data; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are desirable
