Purchasing Assistant

About the role
The Purchasing Assistant will support Chocofac’s chocolate manufacturing operations by handling the end‑to‑end procurement process. This on‑site position ensures that raw material supplies are sourced, ordered, and delivered in line with production needs, helping maintain smooth factory workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers for chocolate raw materials and related components.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to guarantee timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with production teams to align procurement timing with manufacturing schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and inventory movements.
- Assist in resolving any supplier issues that could affect production continuity.
