OTC Specialist (Order to Cash)

About the role

The Orders & Contract Support Executive (OTC Specialist) is part of the Order to Cash sales cycle, managing the invoicing of all outbound sales through the ERP system, covering both product supply and servicing contracts. The role is autonomous but collaborative, and involves maintaining service contracts, monitoring renewals, rate changes and billing/amortisation. It is based in Malaysia and supports a wide range of time zones across Asia Pacific and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer sales orders accurately and on time, including contract creation and validation, customer order management, product shipment invoicing with supporting documents, service contract billing, ad hoc billing and customer contact.
• Ensure OTC processing complies with SOX, company policies and audit requirements.
• Liaise with Country Finance, project leaders/consultants and customers to resolve invoicing issues, inquiries and disputes.
• Drive continuous improvement of the OTC process and assist in month-end close activities related to billing.
• Handle ad hoc duties assigned by the Team Lead or superior.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant credit experience.
• Able to self-motivate and work independently, organised and a team player.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible working hours are essential due to the regional nature of the role and the time zones covered.

Required skills

• JDE knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance.
