Officer / Senior Officer, Order Management (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

This permanent position in Petaling Jaya focuses on end‑to‑end order management for a multinational supply‑chain operation. You will act as a key liaison between customers in China and internal functions to ensure smooth order processing, logistics coordination, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create sales orders, purchase orders, and manage payment follow‑up and order release.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, generate delivery orders, and arrange transportation.
• Handle shipment creation, billing, invoice management, and document collection.
• Monitor import/export activities, reconcile month‑end data, and resolve any shipping issues.
• Capture market intelligence from customer interactions and share insights with the business.
• Manage customer complaints, NCM operations, and escalation of critical issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and local regulations, reporting concerns to the Supply Chain Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in order‑to‑cash processes; chemical industry experience is a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) and English.
• Ability to work flexibly according to China holiday schedules.

Required skills

• Strong competency in SAP.
