Enterprise Master Data Management Operations Intern (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

Roche is looking for an intern for its Enterprise Master Data Management Operations team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role supports the accuracy and integrity of vendor and customer master data, working within the SAP environment and in line with internal control and financial reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and set up new suppliers, customers or update existing vendor/customer details in SAP, following the Vendor Master Data SOP
• Enter vendor data accurately in the MDGS platform, including bank details and change requests
• Approve data and enhancements by verifying bank details according to SOP and ICFR requirements
• Validate records sent by business users and provide data and root cause analysis for process improvements
• Monitor and resolve emails in the vendor master inbox, ensuring compliance with ICFR and local statutory requirements
• Create, verify and clean vendor and customer master data on time, and provide timely helpdesk support and training to internal stakeholders

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transactional accounting or a shared service environment, with exposure to master data management
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience in shared services or business process outsourcing is a plus
