Engineer (Fresh Entry) – Instrument & Control Systems (Oil & Gas)

About the role

This entry‑level position is for a recent engineering graduate who will join the Instrument & Control Systems team in the oil & gas sector. The role involves supporting project delivery, preparing technical documentation, and performing on‑site surveys at offshore facilities or fabrication yards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain weekly Project Management Reports for the Project Manager.
• Interact with business partners and principals to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage resources, cost structures, and technical data to support business development.
• Conduct site/plant technical surveys and produce detailed reports.
• Prepare technical bills of quantities, functional design data, execution plans, and compliance matrices.
• Participate in Factory/Site Acceptance Tests and verify subcontractor work quantities and compliance.
• Develop and customize project monitoring tools using spreadsheet software.

Required profile

• Malaysian citizen, under 26 years of age, preferably male from Sabah or Sarawak.
• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or Post‑Graduate Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, etc.) or equivalent.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to work in offshore facilities or fabrication yards.
• Open to specialized product training with an employment bonding agreement.

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
