Retail Account Manager

About the role

Glory Global Solutions is looking for an Account Manager to sell its full range of products and solutions to retail outlets across Malaysia. The role covers both core selling and the sales administration needed to keep the pipeline moving.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the full product range (TCDs, TCRs, Quick Change, DTP, CI and connectivity software) to retail outlets using the company's selling approach
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and drive new sales streams
• Monitor accounts and markets regularly for additional revenue opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with account stakeholders and develop corrective action plans for customer problems
• Coordinate customer installations smoothly and support the GGS brand with assigned customers
• Create account plans, give monthly reports on key accounts with accurate forecasts, and track market trends and risks
• Keep CRM up to date, prepare reports and call plans, and collect receivables on time

Required profile

• Some experience of B2B consultative solution sales in the retail sector or in sectors where service levels are a key driver
• Experience following a structured sales process and a "hunter mentality" that has penetrated retail companies
• Ability to sell a solution-based approach to senior executives in large local and community businesses
• Experience with cash-handling products or similar is advantageous
• Ability to work independently, flexibly and with a high sense of urgency

Pay is RM8,000 to RM12,000 per month.
