Policy Servicing Analyst

About the role

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is looking for a Policy Servicing Analyst in Kuala Lumpur. The role provides operational support for policy and certificate benefits, including business process analysis and approval of benefits payments as authorised, with other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in system enhancement, process improvement and digital projects, liaising with the supervisor and IT or system support.
• Help prepare system and business requirements, business process reviews, test scripts and user acceptance testing, and prepare sign-off documents from stakeholders and for implementation.
• Monitor results and recommend measures to improve existing processes and systems.
• Analyse data and present findings to support business decisions.
• Carry out quality checks or sampling reviews under the Quality Assurance Framework and update reports to management monthly.
• Establish and update guidelines, working instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Support processing of benefits requests such as surrender, withdrawal, cancellation, loan and other payments, and approve them up to the assigned authority limit.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with people at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• IT literate.
