About the role
AirAsia Move Payment Operations intern ensures seamless, secure payment processing for all bookings. The role sits at the intersection of an online travel agency and digital travel platform, finance and technology, and involves operational issue resolution, supporting the finance team with transaction discrepancies and helping the product team with user acceptance tests for new payment gateways and product launches.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve payment-related operational issues, identify root causes and implement solutions, and support the Payment Helpdesk on day-to-day operations.
- Handle operational reconciliation and exceptions, identifying and resolving discrepancies and payment exceptions quickly.
- Support system testing, including integrating new payment gateways such as Apple Pay and regional digital wallets, or testing updates to booking engine payment flows.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Interest in payment operations, financial process flow and data interpretation.
- An analytical approach to understanding how data and concepts work.
