Order Processing Coordinator (Junior)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Order Processing Coordinator to join Wilhelmsen’s Marine Products division in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports the Global Customer Service (GCS) and Local Customer Service (LCS) teams by handling quotation requests and purchase orders for marine consumables and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process RFQs and POs from the GCS mailbox, adhering to agreed SLA.
• Determine transaction urgency based on ETA, port and customer type, and prioritize accordingly.
• Notify LCS of any irregularities, credit limit issues or order values exceeding authorized limits.
• Maintain accurate records in the order processing system and ensure customer‑specific requirements are met.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and LCS to resolve outstanding tasks and follow up on pending actions.
• Provide administrative support to both GCS and LCS teams as needed.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to interact with internal teams and external customers.
