Mechanical Project Engineer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Daifuku is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support large‑scale automation, baggage handling and intralogistics projects in Kuala Lumpur. The position is on‑site at KL Sentral and offered on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for automation and intralogistics systems using Revit, AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create and manage BIM models to ensure accurate coordination across disciplines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet technical and schedule requirements.
• Support documentation, testing and commissioning activities for baggage handling and related projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in project engineering within automation, baggage handling or intralogistics environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kuala Lumpur and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
