Director, Product Merchant Lead – Malaysia

About the role

Lead the rollout of the Mastercard Offers Network in Malaysia, driving growth and profitability through strategic merchant partnerships. As a senior leader you will shape and execute the market merchant partnership strategy, onboarding and scaling a high‑quality ecosystem of merchants that participate in Mastercard’s offer programs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the merchant partnership strategy for the Malaysian market.
• Onboard, manage, and scale a network of merchant partners for the Offers Network.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
• Collaborate with regional product teams, solution engineers, implementation, legal and other internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of personalized offer programs and monitor performance metrics.
• Leverage AI‑powered and data‑enabled technology solutions to enhance consumer engagement.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in partnership management, commercial negotiation and strategic growth planning.
• Strong track record in payments, retail, or related industries, preferably within the Southeast Asian market.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, legal and operations teams.
