Country Manager – Malaysia

About the role

The Country Manager will lead indrive’s operations in Malaysia, shaping national strategy and driving execution across marketplace, product, and partnership functions. This hands‑on role requires deep knowledge of ride‑hailing dynamics and the ability to solve high‑stakes challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational standards aligned with global strategy.
• Facilitate collaboration between country, regional, and central teams.
• Lead automation and workflow optimisation to scale operations.
• Oversee high‑level operational escalations and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor supply‑demand balance, optimise funnel metrics and pricing strategies.
• Lead market expansion, city/product launches and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Gather market insights to guide product localisation and rollout.
• Manage strategic partnerships, public affairs and crisis communication.
• Lead risk mitigation, compliance and government‑relations activities.
• Monitor service quality, support performance and incident management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, general management or marketplace leadership.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams in high‑growth environments.
• Experience in ride‑hailing, e‑commerce or other platform‑based businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and deliver scalable solutions.
