Business Manager – Sales & Marketing

About the role

GeoSoftware is seeking a driven Business Manager to lead customer development and sales closure across the Kuala Lumpur territory. You will collaborate with technical, legal, licensing and finance teams to deliver geoscience software solutions to oil‑and‑gas clients in the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet quota, maintain accurate financial reporting and revenue recognition.
• Create market opportunity assessments, strategic account plans and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and revenue collection.
• Build and nurture client relationships, identify training needs and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee contractual agreements, invoicing and payment processes, and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• Malaysian citizen residing in Kuala Lumpur.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the APAC oil & gas market.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with experience selling to national oil companies and enterprise accounts.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
