Talent Acquisition Analyst (Mandarin Speaker) – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

This 6‑month contract position supports BASF’s recruitment operations for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan from our Kuala Lumpur hub. The analyst will supervise the recruitment team, resolve complex operational issues and ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and supervise recruitment team members on day‑to‑day service delivery for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Resolve critical operational issues, manage escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with the manager to align customer expectations, drive process standardisation and implement improvements.
• Assist in resource planning and workload management to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Partner with BASF and BSSCKL teams to ensure compliance with SOPs and high‑quality customer service.
• Manage vendor relationships, including scouting, selection, negotiation, onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Identify operational trends, propose solutions and act as backup for team leads as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar talent acquisition or HR operations role.
• Native or advanced proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Mandarin.

• Experience with PeopleSoft HR system.
