Graduate Engineer

About the role

As a Graduate Engineer you will join Surbana Jurong’s Hydropower and Dams team, contributing to both local and international projects. You will work under the guidance of senior and principal engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in the design, analysis and delivery of hydropower and dam‑related works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, coordination and execution of engineering projects.
• Conduct engineering studies, research, analysis and calculations to support project objectives.
• Prepare technical documents, calculations, reports, drawings, specifications and presentations.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and multidisciplinary team members to achieve project goals.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys and field testing as required.
• Ensure deliverables comply with internal procedures, project specifications, standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Help identify technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies.
• Take part in training programmes, workshops and mentoring opportunities.
• Adhere to company health, safety and environment policies and promote a positive safety culture.

Required profile

• Recent engineering graduate interested in hydropower and dam projects.
