FHS Repair Specialist

About the role

The FHS Repair Specialist will join Airbus Flight Hours Services (FHS) team in Putrajaya, acting as the main liaison between the operations desk and repair suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and quality repairs for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Challenge and validate suppliers' commercial quotations, ensuring alignment with procurement guidelines and cost targets.
• Create justification dossiers for customer‑induced damages and contribute to achieving global FHS repair cost targets.
• Monitor supplier lead times, prioritize AOG and critical customer requests, and identify root causes of delays.
• Organise regular conference calls and on‑site visits with suppliers to address open issues, repair status, backlog, and data reconciliation.
• Ensure suppliers respect technical standards (service bulletins, upgrades), certification requirements (EASA, FAA, CAAS), and manage quarantines on returned parts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of repair operations, work closely with method and tool teams, and guarantee data quality in the system.

Required profile

• Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of aviation industry experience in purchasing, component repair, supplier management or customer service.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and able to work autonomously with strong time‑management skills.
