Compensation & Benefits Manager (Country Rewarding)

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the country rewarding function in Malaysia. The role will design, implement and monitor compensation policies, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review the annual compensation review process, including job evaluation, salary and benefits benchmarking, and merit increase recommendations.
• Lead the rollout of country‑wide or global compensation programs and corporate rewarding strategies.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, location HR, business division leaders and senior management to align compensation and benefits plans with business objectives.
• Conduct market research and benchmark compensation levels, benefits and incentive structures against industry standards locally and internationally.
• Monitor market trends and legislative changes, provide recommendations and ensure compliance with local and global regulations.
• Engage with external networking groups and compensation consultants to stay updated on best practices.
• Communicate compensation and benefits programs, manage knowledge sharing and ensure clear understanding among users.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management or a related field.
• 6‑7 years of experience in regional or country‑level strategic compensation and benefits.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations affecting compensation.
• Proven networking with compensation consulting firms and ability to obtain market intelligence.
• Proactive, self‑driven, team player with strong attention to detail and business orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with HR analytical tools.
• Mercer IPE certification (preferred).
