Tax Pillar Two (GMT) Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax (GMT) engagements for multinational clients. You will work within the Kuala Lumpur delivery centre, ensuring compliance with the new OECD regime that will be implemented in Malaysia from 2025.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑jurisdictional Pillar Two GMT projects, meeting scope, quality and timeline commitments.
• Provide technical oversight on compliance and reporting processes across multiple tax jurisdictions.
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to standards before client submission.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, anticipate needs, mitigate risks and propose practical solutions.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively, balancing delivery priorities with team development.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular feedback and performance discussions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing tax compliance or consulting engagements, preferably with international exposure.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
