Non-Motor Pricing Lead

About the role

The Non-Motor Pricing Lead will perform analytical and actuarial pricing duties, ensuring strong data governance and highly accurate analyses for senior pricing actuaries. The role advises on pricing and design of new protection products, applying statistical and predictive modelling techniques to solve business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing actuarial pricing team to deliver accurate, timely pricing solutions.
• Oversee development, implementation and maintenance of pricing, capital, P&L and other actuarial models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Perform complex statistical analyses, data mining and modelling to support pricing and financial decisions.
• Manage data collection, cleaning, validation and maintain pricing databases.
• Collaborate with business partners, communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences, and support new product development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience and pursuit of a professional actuarial qualification (UK, US or Australia).
• Strong proficiency in Malay and English (listening, speaking, writing).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop actuarial staff.
