Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Sitecore is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services for its cloud platforms. You will work in a distributed, international team, collaborating closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, ship, and maintain production‑grade backend services on Microsoft Azure.
• Build façade and common APIs that encapsulate business logic and hide platform complexity.
• Develop and evolve REST and/or GraphQL APIs used by internal applications.
• Ensure APIs are secure, performant, and observable.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, and troubleshooting high‑impact production issues.
• Mentor other developers through code reviews and technical discussions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET (Core or Framework).
• Proven experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Cosmos DB or other distributed NoSQL stores.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in distributed, cross‑functional teams.
