Senior Product Manager

About the role

AirAsia Aviation Management Services is looking for a Senior Product Manager in Sepang, Malaysia. The role works with stakeholders to define, design and deliver a device-, channel- and medium-independent experience for customers and merchants across customer support, merchant support and back-office systems, and brings simplicity to AirAsia's digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the software engineering team from concept through prototyping, engineering and production.
• Provide vision and direction to Agile development teams, create requirements and user stories, and keep the backlog well groomed.
• Plan and prioritise the product feature backlog, and define the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities.
• Assess value and prioritise stories, epics and themes in line with product strategy; lead release planning and set delivery expectations.
• Mitigate impediments affecting Release and Sprint goals.
• Research and analyse the market, users and roadmap, follow competitors and the industry, and stay up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field.
• 6+ years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in product management, preferably in e-commerce, customer support or merchant support.
• Experience managing high-traffic e-commerce sites (500k+ visitors per day).
• Travel or e-commerce background is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, data science, UI/UX, JavaScript and/or Python.
• Cloud knowledge, preferably Google Cloud (App Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Monitoring, BigQuery).
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills, with strong organisational and analytical abilities.
