Senior Claims Specialist

About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to manage complex personal and commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure. The role involves delivering customer‑centric service while ensuring efficient, effective claim handling within defined authority limits.

Key responsibilities

• Document and update claim files, assess liability, verify policy coverage, and determine exposure for multi‑party claims.
• Develop case strategies, set timely reserves, negotiate settlements, and oversee the full claims cycle to achieve timely resolutions.
• Lead a team of claims handling specialists, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with policies across multiple regions.
• Provide technical guidance, analyze data trends, and manage stakeholder relationships to support complex litigation and settlement strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of claims or litigation experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience as listed.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating in cross‑functional teams and delivering high‑quality customer service.
