Senior Analyst – Invoice to Cash

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Invoice to Cash will independently manage end‑to‑end Invoice‑to‑Cash operations for BASF in the Asia Pacific region. You will ensure compliance with internal BASF standards, financial reporting requirements and local regulations while supporting continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review ITC workflows, including Accounts Receivable, Collections, Treasury Back Office and Intercompany Reconciliation.
• Supervise and mentor junior analysts, ensuring adherence to process descriptions and service management frameworks.
• Act as reviewer and approver for daily and month‑end tasks, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor unallocated receipts, overdue accounts and post‑dunning activities, proposing corrective actions.
• Support regional and global process implementation projects and communicate deliverables to stakeholders.
• Participate in compliance audits, respond to queries and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvements, and deliver training to end users.
• Contribute to Business Continuity Planning through resource planning and backup communication.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Chartered or Certified Professional Accountant qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably with invoice‑to‑cash or accounts‑receivable functions.
