Purchasing Executive – Halal Certified F&B/Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Executive to lead sourcing and supplier management for our multi‑level F&B outlets, hotel and wellness centre in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on Halal‑compliant procurement, ensuring cost‑effective and accurate purchasing while upholding the highest standards of integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for food, beverage and hotel supplies.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain Halal certification compliance across all procurement activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the centralized Shared Services Hub.
• Track procurement performance metrics and report to senior management.
• Resolve supplier issues and maintain strong relationships.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in hospitality or F&B environment.
• Strong understanding of Halal certification requirements.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
