Assistant Outlet Manager

About the role

Santan Food Services Sdn. Bhd. is hiring an Assistant Outlet Manager in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers day-to-day operations, staff supervision, inventory control, P&L support and compliance, and suits candidates with F&B supervisory experience as well as fresh graduates with a strong hospitality background.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily shifts, ensuring smooth transitions and full floor coverage
• Monitor staff performance, coach in real time and keep the team motivated
• Lead inventory management through regular stock counts and accurate ordering
• Oversee drink and food preparation so every item meets the quality standard
• Assist in managing the outlet's P&L, minimising wastage and controlling costs
• Create fair, balanced schedules that follow labour law and meet business needs
• Track daily sales targets and help grow revenue and guest loyalty
• Ensure the team follows food safety guidelines and keeps a clean environment
• Uphold safety protocols for guests and staff

Required profile

• Previous F&B supervisory or management experience is highly valued; fresh graduates with a hospitality background are also welcome
• Basic understanding of cost management, inventory systems and labour regulations
• Willingness to learn, resilience and composure under pressure
• Completed Typhoid vaccination before starting
• Food Handler Training (FHT) completed or attended within the first month
• Flexible to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
