About the role

ASMPT is seeking a motivated Planner / Senior Planner to join its production planning team in Pasir Gudang. The role focuses on coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring material availability, and optimizing workflow using SAP.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production plans aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Monitor shop‑floor progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery targets.
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and engineering teams to resolve material shortages.
  • Generate regular reports on capacity utilization, order status, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
