About the role
ASMPT is seeking a motivated Planner / Senior Planner to join its production planning team in Pasir Gudang. The role focuses on coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring material availability, and optimizing workflow using SAP.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production plans aligned with demand forecasts.
- Monitor shop‑floor progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery targets.
- Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and engineering teams to resolve material shortages.
- Generate regular reports on capacity utilization, order status, and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Required profile
- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
