Order Management Executive (ASEAN, ANZ, Taiwan)

About the role

BASF's Regional Service Hub in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Order Management Executive to run customer order management processes with a consistently high level of service for the Customer Service, covering ASEAN, ANZ and Taiwan. The position is permanent and listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the customer order management processes set up in the KL Hub with the different models and interfaces
• Process sales and purchase orders from various customers in a timely manner
• Act as service contact for assigned countries, monitoring order status and giving updates to countries and customers
• Check BL drafts for LC orders, third-party supplier orders and key customer orders, manage insurance certificates where needed, and follow up on BL receipt status based on ETD
• Collect original bills of lading and other documents from suppliers, upload and maintain them in SAP for an audit trail, and support internal and external audits
• Register and follow up on all non-conformances in the NCM system and take part in new workflows for on-time, accurate documents
• Verify pricing with Marketing and monitor the guidelines implemented
• Handle debit and credit notes where applicable, and ensure delivery capability and reliability of all orders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or high diploma, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, including hands-on order management and shipping document handling

Required skills

• Supply chain management and process knowledge
• SAP (SD module) experience
• Operational order management including shipping documentation and foreign documentary trade
• Good communication skills
