Deals Associate – October 2026 Intake

About the role

PwC is recruiting a Deals Associate for its Advisory Deals practice in Kuala Lumpur, with an October 2026 intake. The role is a general entry point into the practice and is not tied to a specific team; graduates join a broader talent pool and can be deployed across Deals sub-functions depending on business needs and project demands. Exposure may cover M&A, Performance & Restructuring, Value Creation and Economics, Policy & Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support project teams across a variety of engagements and industries
• Research financial, commercial and operational risks
• Assist in building financial models, forecasts and analyses
• Help prepare client deliverables, reports and presentations
• Learn deal advisory through on-the-job learning, structured training and mentorship

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final-year student from any discipline, with a strong interest in finance, business and deal-making
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a STEM-related field, or a professional accounting qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA-CAANZ or CPA Australia
• Minimum CGPA of 3.5 or above (Second Class Upper/Honours or Distinction)
• Strong analytical, leadership, teamwork, client service and written and spoken English communication skills
