Compliance Incident Management Manager

About the role

Responsible for end‑to‑end management of non‑compliance incidents and findings, ensuring timely remediation, escalation and closure while supporting regulatory change and market conduct monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Manage non‑compliance incidents and Shariah compliance matters from intake through assessment, root‑cause analysis, action planning, monitoring and closure.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance systems and produce dashboards, reports and management information for senior governance bodies.
• Identify trends and systemic issues, recommending improvements to policies, processes, controls and training.
• Support regulatory change management, market conduct monitoring and Shariah compliance advisory activities.
• Provide practical compliance advice to business units and collaborate with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit or incident management, with ability to lead complex matters independently.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian insurance/takaful regulations and market conduct expectations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder management and communication skills in English and the local language.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented with high integrity and sound judgement.
