Business System Data Analyst (PLM Operations Support)

About the role

NXP is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented PLM Operations Support Analyst to join its global operations team in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business processes and systems, maintains process documentation, supports system enhancements and drives continuous improvement. It works with business, engineering, supply chain, product management and IT teams worldwide and suits recent graduates and junior professionals interested in enterprise systems and semiconductor operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day use of the Aras PLM system and related applications, troubleshoot user issues and guide business users on processes and best practices
• Monitor process and data quality, support master data management and governance, and perform root cause analysis on recurring issues
• Analyse workflows with global stakeholders, recommend improvements and apply continuous improvement methods
• Gather and validate requirements for system enhancements, collaborate with IT teams on workflow, validation, rule, role and permission changes, and support implementation and testing
• Create test plans, test cases and UAT activities, document defects and resolutions
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions and knowledge articles, create training materials and deliver user training
• Act as liaison between business teams and IT, providing technical guidance and facilitating communication on changes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong written and spoken English, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
• Customer-focused, organized and detail-oriented

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of PLM, PDM, ERP or other enterprise systems
• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor or technology processes
• Experience with process mapping, business analysis, requirements gathering, UAT and data analysis/reporting tools
