Assistant Manager, Order Management Delivery

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead end‑to‑end order management and delivery operations for our acrylate business in South China. Based in Petaling Jaya, you will ensure on‑time fulfillment, maintain service reliability and support business continuity across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate OTC delivery planning, lead regular meetings with sites and planners, and develop daily delivery plans.
• Adjust delivery schedules in real time to address operational constraints and minimise disruption.
• Collaborate with sales teams on allocation priorities during supply shortages.
• Act as the central communication hub with OTC, providing timely updates on plan changes.
• Drive digital projects that improve process efficiency and compliance.
• Streamline complex business scenarios into workable OTC processes and provide backup support.
• Liaise with master/finite planners, logistics providers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, system troubleshooting and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in OTC, preferably in chemicals, trading or commodities.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) and English.
• Willingness to work according to China holiday schedules.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Basic programming capabilities.
