Accounts Executive – Order to Cash

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ship Management is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes for its regional operations. You will ensure accurate accounting, timely invoicing, and effective cash collection while supporting treasury and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record, check and post all relevant transactions to the accounting system promptly.
• Prepare weekly/monthly voucher entries and submit them for review.
• Generate outgoing invoices, debit/credit notes and account statements accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate with the accountant for intercompany billing and maintain up‑to‑date receivable ledgers.
• Follow up customer payments, resolve disputes, and clear overdue items.
• Reconcile accounts‑receivable ledger, investigate discrepancies and ensure proper posting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company accounting policies and statutory record‑keeping requirements.
• Prepare periodic revenue and receivable reports for management.
• Raise payment requisitions for refunds or credit notes with supporting documentation.
• Provide required information and documents to internal and external auditors and support tax compliance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
• Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing and cash collection processes.
• Ability to reconcile ledgers, investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with intercompany billing and treasury requisition procedures.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance for taxes and audits.
