Well Control / HPHT Specialist (East Coast of Malaysia)

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas as a Well Control / HPHT Specialist, supporting offshore drilling operations on the East Coast of Malaysia. You will ensure equipment integrity, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance for high‑pressure, high‑temperature wells.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of technical experience in HPHT well control equipment within the last 15 years.
• At least 5 years of dedicated experience conducting third‑party rig well control and HPHT inspections or compliance audits.
• Successfully completed at least three HPHT Readiness Surveys and three comprehensive BOP/Well Control Audits in the past five years.
• Strong technical knowledge of HPHT well control systems, equipment integrity, inspection methodologies, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to assess well control equipment, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance for offshore drilling.
• Must be Malaysian and willing to be based on the East Coast of Malaysia.
