About the role

Under guidance, the Tax Specialist performs routine tax transactional tasks and resolves straightforward problems across tax accounting, reporting, planning, audits, research and compliance. The role ensures actions are completed to appropriate service levels and defined procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare tax returns, supporting workpapers, estimated tax payments and other compliance filings.
  • Assist in monthly tax provisions, transfer pricing documentation and SST bi‑monthly returns.
  • Support company tax audits, respond to tax notices and resolve tax controversy matters.
  • Conduct basic technical research to address tax issues and identify planning opportunities.
  • Investigate tax data, processes and practices to identify compliance issues and recommend actions.
  • Collate and analyze data using financial modelling and tax accounting tools to support decision‑making.

Required profile

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and/or advisory.
  • Preferred experience with deferred tax knowledge.
