Staff Quality Engineer - After Sales

About the role

Bitdeer, a technology company for Bitcoin mining and AI cloud, is hiring a Staff Quality Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. The role sits in After Sales and acts as the main point of contact for escalated product quality issues, bridging R&D, After Sales and Manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary stakeholder and main contact for escalated product quality issues, owning their tracking and resolution
• Gather, study and interpret performance and failure data to investigate quality issues, identify root causes and escalate complex problems to technical stakeholders
• Triage incoming quality issues by criticality, frequency and business impact, and provide engineering or process solutions where possible
• Bridge R&D, After Sales and Manufacturing, keeping them aligned on quality matters
• Keep stakeholders informed with prompt, accurate updates on investigation status and corrective actions
• Carry out other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the team lead or management

Required profile

• Proven experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or a similar technical role, preferably in hardware and electronics; semiconductor manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex technical findings clearly
• Proactive problem solver who drives practical solutions
• Organised enough to manage several ongoing investigations at once
