Facilities Director - Manufacturing Site

About the role

A large manufacturing site in Penang, Malaysia is looking for a Facilities Director to lead its facilities function. The role covers facility operations, maintenance, utilities, infrastructure, projects and capacity planning. The position is full time, permanent and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site facilities operations and external service providers.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, wastewater and cleanroom systems.
• Support manufacturing expansion through space and utility capacity planning.
• Manage facilities projects, budgets, contracts and maintenance programs.
• Drive equipment reliability, cost optimization and continuous improvement.
• Lead a team of Facilities Engineers and Technicians.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of facilities engineering or management experience.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing; cleanroom exposure preferred.
• Proven leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills.
