Staff Facility Engineer – Energy

About the role

As a Staff Facility Engineer – Energy you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Energy Management System (EnMS) at Bosch’s Bayan Lepas site. You will work closely with management, the Energy Committee and cross‑functional teams to drive energy efficiency, waste reduction and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Management Representative and Energy Committee in establishing, implementing and maintaining the EnMS.
• Coordinate technical discussions, develop measurement plans and identify efficiency improvement projects.
• Report EnMS and energy performance to top management at defined intervals.
• Act as Waste Disposal Coordinator, advising on waste‑avoidance design, labeling, collection and internal transport.
• Promote worker participation in energy and environmental programs and ensure compliance with EnMS, waste management and LEV requirements.
• Support audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, TS16949) and ensure timely closure of related observations.
• Collaborate with Site Safety Officer and Department Heads to maintain safe work practices.
• Participate in Cluster and Regional Service Team activities and drive continuous improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project, waste and energy management.
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact at all management levels.
• Flexibility to take on ad‑hoc assignments or projects.
• Computer literate with strong numerical aptitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Project.
• SAP knowledge; experience with S/4HANA is an advantage.
