Sr. Associate I, Payroll (Korean Speaker)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate I, Payroll who is fluent in Korean to deliver accurate and compliant payroll services for APAC countries, including Korea, Indonesia and the Philippines. The role works within the HR Shared Services team and collaborates with payroll vendors, HR, Finance and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time for assigned countries, ensuring compliance with local statutes and company policies.
• Validate payroll inputs, manage vendor performance, and resolve payroll exceptions through ServiceNow and other case platforms.
• Support payroll audits, statutory reporting and documentation of processes and SOPs.
• Participate in payroll system implementations, transitions, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of multi‑country payroll experience in APAC, with strong knowledge of statutory compliance.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Korean.

Required skills

• Workday HRIS and Payroll systems.
• ServiceNow case management platform.
• Payroll vendor platforms such as ADP, Strada, SD Worx, NGA.
• Kronos or equivalent Time & Attendance system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
