Senior Test Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Senior Test Maintenance Engineer to lead the maintenance planning and troubleshooting of test equipment across our manufacturing sites. You will work closely with station owners, machine suppliers and technicians to ensure high equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop maintenance plans for new test equipment based on inputs from station owners and suppliers.
• Perform troubleshooting using guides and root‑cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with station owners and suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach and develop technicians in troubleshooting and sustaining test stations.
• Manage and upload all manufacturing maintenance documents promptly.
• Optimize equipment reliability and design.
• Drive KPI achievement and continuous improvement with realistic goal setting.
• Evaluate technician performance against departmental and individual goals.
• Summarise breakdown reports and provide feedback to improve MTTR and MTBF.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 3–5 years of experience in final‑assembly maintenance (or up to 2 years for fresh graduates with relevant internships).
• Strong knowledge of electronics testing and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies.
• Understanding of test methodologies and problem‑solving concepts (RCCA).
• Good circuit, schematic and electrical drawing interpretation skills.
• Effective communication, teamwork and proactive learning attitude.
