Senior Executive, Scheduling

About the role

AirAsia Aviation Management Services (AAAMS) is hiring a full-time Senior Executive, Scheduling in its Group Scheduling department, based in RedQ, Sepang, Selangor. The scheduler develops and manages AirAsia's and/or AirAsia X's flight schedules, balancing operational feasibility with economic optimisation, and helps publish schedules accurately across platforms such as airasia.com and the Navitaire reservation system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and distribute aircraft routing solutions for AirAsia's widebody and narrowbody networks, keeping schedules operationally feasible and aligned with business goals.
• Contribute to aligning the annual budget with the flight schedule.
• File, manage and monitor the slot portfolio across all airports, ensuring optimal allocation and regulatory compliance.
• Help move schedules from planning to live mode, update and upload information in Schedule Manager (New Skies), and coordinate with the Preflight team on rescheduling.
• Optimize schedules for holidays and day-of-week patterns to increase revenue opportunities.
• Support fleet changes, special events and charter schedules, and work with operational teams to balance operational, financial and efficiency objectives.
• Communicate future schedules clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Comfortable working with data in Excel and analysing basic scheduling information to spot trends and patterns.
• Ethical, transparent and collaborative, with a problem-solving mindset and quick learning.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments; enjoys teamwork and clear communication.
