Senior Analyst, Finance

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Finance will provide high‑quality financial advice and support to key business stakeholders in Malaysia, covering project governance, joint ventures, alliances, financial auditing and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver effective and timely financial management and reporting for projects.
• Contribute to the commercial performance of business units.
• Act as Business Partner for the I+E business within the location.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SJ Group policies, procedures, systems and controls for all financial processes.
• Support project governance, joint ventures, alliances and financial auditing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or related field; MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar corporate finance role.
• Strong understanding of business and cost‑control principles.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organisational skills to meet tight deadlines and competing demands.
• Good knowledge of the organisation’s accounting procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced use of spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel).
• Data analysis and reconciliation procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).
• Intermediate competence in financial software applications.
