Sales Specialist – Personal Safety Division

About the role

3M is seeking a proactive Sales Specialist to lead the Personal Safety Division (PSD) portfolio across key end‑user and distributor accounts. You will be responsible for driving growth, building relationships, and delivering the division’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage PSD portfolio penetration within strategic customers and distributors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and lead conversion.
• Support the creation and execution of marketing and sales plans, including forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform strategy.
• Represent 3M at exhibitions, seminars and trade association events.
• Provide product training and technical support to internal teams and external customers.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and deliver timely reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science or Engineering.
• 0–5 years experience in industrial or safety‑market sales; experience with personal protection equipment, fall protection or SCBA is a plus.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (AutoCAD).
