Sales Officer

About the role

AirAsia Aviation Management Services is hiring a Sales Officer in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The role focuses on upselling AirAsia products such as insurance, meals, duty-free, merchandise, baggage and seat assignment to customers, while representing the brand at the assigned outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and upsell AirAsia products that can be added to flight tickets.
• Contact potential or existing customers using scripts, answer questions about products or the company, and ask questions to understand customer needs and close sales.
• Gather and document customer information, payment methods, purchases and reactions to products.
• Listen to customers' needs to generate repeat sales.
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for management.
• Maintain outlet cleanliness to the minimum service level and act as the face of AirAsia at the outlet.
• Provide quality, timely customer service by handling questions, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Follow procedures to upsell AirAsia Business Partner and affiliate products such as hotels, AirAsia Assist membership and PCR tests.
• Help customers learn how to use services and where to find the Customer Experience team, and record customer interactions accurately on a computer.
• Stay current on products, services and industry news, take part in training and development, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Able to work shift rotation, including weekends and public holidays.
