Record to Report (R2R) Associate – APAC

About the role

As a member of AVEVA's Shared Services team, you will support the Record to Report function across the APAC region. You will be responsible for accurate financial data processing, journal posting, and period‑close activities while collaborating with finance and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Post general ledger journal entries and perform fixed‑asset accounting.
• Execute period‑close activities and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and analysis.
• Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Work with finance and business teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Maintain relationships with key R2R stakeholders and support SSC activities for other regions.
• Assist in training and developing junior staff.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Operational accounting and reporting experience.
• Strong integrity and ability to work under time pressure.
• Fluency in English.
• Highly energetic, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Accounting degree or recognised qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, AAT).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP finance systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Oracle financial applications.
• General computer literacy.
